What Is Memory Gauge?

Netssu’s Electronic Memory Recorders – EMRs, are used to record downhole pressure and temperature and are powered by lithium battery packs. Our gauges cover a complete range of applications including high pressure/high temperature testing at 15,000 psi and 177 °C, extended surveys in excess of oneyear duration and short gauges for side pocket mandrel installations or restricted height rig-up applications. With large memory capacity, faster sampling rates can be achieved enabling better characterization of early-time pressure transient data. Netssu is currently manufacturing Memory Gauges with two different kind of transducers, the piezoelectric based and quartz based transducers. Piezo Memory Recorders (PMR) exploit a piezoelectric based sensor which provides a decent and cost-effective solution for the customers. On the other hand, Memory Quartz Gauges (MQG) facilitate a high-end state-of-the-art quartz pressure/temperature transducer which makes it a reliable tool for high accuracy and sensitive applications.

What Is Free Point Indicator Tool?

The tool’s design have been done using state of the art methods and software by Netssu’s professional engineers considering the operation requirements and the market’s needs. It have been designed to withstand pressures up to 20000 psi (135 MPa) and temperatures up to 170 °C (338 °F).
By using electromechanical controls for attaching the tool to the pipe our tool can work in harsh and problematic environments with precision and ease. Tool’s mechanical design and electronic controls have been designed in a way that in case of any unforeseen failure.
Utilization of sensitive magneto-resistive sensors in Netssu’s FPI tool with internal stimulation mechanism, guarantees precise reliable readings of the tools relative position, obtaining the actual precision of 0.01° in radial and 0.001 mm in axial movements of the tool.
The Netssu’s FPI come with its special surface panel and logging software, which are specially designed to make free point operations faster and easier than before.
